I think photography brings people together, encourages people to explore new spaces and places, allows people to document those experiences together.
I started photographing because I thought images might be able to tell us things about the world that our eyes can't on their own. I began photographing by documenting places, architecture, my family, and the times just hanging out with the people I like.
While I now live and work in Chicago, I am a Kansas City native and forever a KC BBQ enthusiast. I teach Photography at DePaul University and North Park University. In addition to freelancing commercial photography, I make art videos exploring dead malls, write and record pop music, and play synths and sing in a band.
I would love to meet you! Let's work together.
